How can we read the Gospel with first-century eyes and with twenty-first century questions?
That’s the theme of David Smith’s new book, and this evening David will talk about how he approaches this topic. There will be a chance to question David about his work and copies of the book will also be available to buy.
David Smith, a former minister of Eden Chapel, Cambridge, spent many years in service in mission in the rainforests of eastern Nigeria, he has also been co-director of the Whitefield Research Institute, Oxford, Principal of Northumbria Bible College, and Senior Research Fellow at the International Christian College, Glasgow. He is currently Honorary Lecturer in the School of Divinity, Philosophy and History at the University of Aberdeen.
